What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neighbor 2 Neighbor AmeriCorps Member position at City of Santa Rosa?
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Neighbor 2 Neighbor (N2N) AmeriCorps Members serving with the City of Santa Rosa under the Community Engagement Manager. Service Term: February 2025 – September 2025
Americorps Members are not City employees are not paid a salary, but are eligible for a monthly living stipend, educational award, and other benefits.The City of Santa Rosa's mission is to provide high-quality public services and cultivate a vibrant, resilient, and livable city. In this role, you will have the opportunity to serve your community by developing programs that build the City’s capacity to build collaborative, thriving, connected, and resilient neighborhoods. Members participating in the program will create the infrastructure needed for neighborhood leader engagement including developing neighborhood leader programs, supporting community building events (town halls, community meetings, workshops), and facilitating community feedback (surveys, scorecards, etc.), among other tasks.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is passionate about community engagement
- Has experience fostering civic involvement, coalition building, volunteer management, creating policies, procedures, tracking mechanisms, and data analysis.
- Has excellent communication skills
