Job Description
Performs a variety of routine to complex clerical duties as needed to maintain comprehensive records, reports, accounts, or files related to activities of the City of Saratoga Springs Justice Court. This position is under the direct supervision of the Judicial Supervisor and has three (3) career levels where additional skills and responsibilities may be required. Determination of career advancement is made by the Judicial Supervisors' recommendation to City Administration and is based on performance, completion of specific training and projects, specialization in certain areas of interest or need, and budgeted positions. All City employees work under the general direction of the City Manager and the City Council.

Judicial Assistant I
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Graduation from high school with a diploma or a GED equivalent
- One (1) year previous clerical, office administration, &/or customer service experience, preferably dealing with confidential information &/or in the Court System
Certifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid Utah Driver's license
- Annual attendance of AOC Conference
- BCI certified to access the State computer database
Judicial Assistant II
Education & Experience:
- Graduation from high school with a diploma or a GED equivalent
- Two (2) years previous clerical experience in the Court System
Certifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid Utah Driver's license
- Annual attendance of AOC Conference
- BCI certified to access the State computer database
Judicial Assistant III
Education & Experience:
- Graduation from high school with a diploma or a GED equivalent
- Four (4) years previous clerical experience in the Court System
Certifications
- Must possess a valid Utah driver's license
- Annual attendance of AOC Conference
- BCI certified to access the State computer database

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range:
The full salary range is as follows, please note hiring will normally occur at the Minimum of the range and will not exceed the Midpoint of the range:
Judicial Assistant I
Minimum - $17.90/hr. Midpoint - $21.49/hr. Maximum - $25.07/hr.
Judicial Assistant II
Minimum - $18.80/hr. Midpoint - $22.56/hr. Maximum - $26.32/hr.
Judicial Assistant III
Minimum - $19.74/hr. Midpoint - $23.69/hr. Maximum - $27.63/hr.
