The Beach Ranger position is responsible for checking beach bonfires for compliance with the rules and regulations set forth by the City of Satellite Beach. This includes, but not limited to checking the bonfire computer system for list of scheduled bonfires; patrolling the beach bonfires during bonfire season; verifying that all bonfires have the proper permit; confirm that all bonfires are following the rules set forth by the City of Satellite Beach; notifying the police department of non-permitted bonfires; and notifying the police department if a bonfire needs to be shut down. The Beach Ranger position may evolve into a Beach Safety Ranger position in the future.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to operate an ATV on the beach and the availability to work Fridays thru Sunday as well as holidays.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENCES:
High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver license
