- Safely operates and maintains Refuse roll-off truck to support transfer station.
- Performs complete pre and post trip inspections of the roll-off truck in accordance with City policy to ensure safe operation.
- Continuously monitors roll-off containers for unacceptable waste.
- Inspects job sites for possible hazards.
- Responds to customer inquiries and refers customer complaints to supervisor.
- Ensures proper equipment maintenance; performs minor repairs as necessary.
- Follow and comply with all City safety policies and guidelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Responds to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Roll-truck experience preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid state Class B Commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
Work Hours: 7am - 5:30pm Monday - Saturday
Work Location: Varies
This is a critical workforce and safety sensitive position.
Additional Requirements
Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.

- Knowledge of the repair and maintenance of assigned vehicles and equipment.
