- Works closely with the Aquatics Manager, managing our aquatic program.
- Works to ensure timecards are done correctly by lifeguard staff.
- Oversees vacation schedule for lifeguard staff.
- Documents pool chemicals each day from the different pools.
- Helps check participants into the pool.
- Monitor swimmers to provide and safe environment for everyone.
- Implement rules and policies set forth by the aquatic manager.
- Work at Swim meets and other programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Must be 21 years old.
Additional Requirements:
A background investigation, Motor Vehicle Record report and a supervised drug screen will be conducted.

Guidelines:Guidelines include the swimming pool manual, the Department of Environmental Health Book of Codes and Rules, Guidelines for CPO, and instructions from pool maintenance personnel. These guidelines are generally clear and specific but may require some interpretation in application.
Minimum Standards:
Complexity: The work consists of supervising citizens and staff assigned to at swimming pool facilities. Performing assigned duties. Maintaining all equipment and having to supervise large numbers of participants, contributes to the complexity of the position.
Scope and Effect: The purpose of this position is to complete administrative and general duties at our swimming pool facilities. Successful performance helps ensure the provision of a safe recreation site for citizens.
Personal Contacts: Contacts are typically with co-workers, general public, coaches, daycare personnel, summer camp personnel, and Red Cross workers.
Purpose of Contacts: Contacts are typically to give or exchange information, to resolve problems, to provide services, to motivate or influence persons, and to justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters.
Physical Demands: The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, or crouching. The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects and distinguishes between shades of color.
Work Environment: The work is performed indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, or inclement weather. The work exposes the employee to machinery with moving parts, contagious diseases, and irritating chemicals. The work week typically runs forty to sixty hours a week.
Supervisory and Management Responsibility: Ensuring that citizens using the swimming pool facilities are abiding by the Georgia Health Department rules posted.
