Position: Water Distribution Operator
Requirements: Removing sections of old water pipes and replacing them with new pipes, fixing busted pipes, broken hydrants, installing or removing; bushing hogging of properties; doing tap-ins for new customers; changing meters; repairing water leaks; flushing hydrants; daily checks of vehicles and equipment. A detailed list of duties can be obtained at City of Scottsburg Human Resources at the Mayor’s Office in City Hall.
Qualifications: Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL.
Applications: Candidates can obtain a City of Scottsburg application from City Hall. Applications and resumes must be submitted to the Human Resources Office no later than 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 19th, 2025.
