Introduction
Performs manual labor and operates large sanitation truck picking up bulk items, brush and other debris on a sanitation route and / or repair and place refuse and recycling containers. Operates a large sanitation truck picking up brush and other uncontained debris on a solid waste route. Assists and directs assigned co-workers in loading material into truck.
Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $28.69 / hour.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Six months of experience operating sanitation, heavy truck, and / or construction equipment.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements
Other pertinent licenses and / or certifications may be required of some positions depending on department / section assignment.
