Job Summary: The position is responsible for performing inspections of new and remodeled residential and/or commercial buildings to ensure compliance with the City building codes, ordinances and inspection processes. Coordinates inspections with contractors and advises citizens and contractors of building procedures and city policies.

- High diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience
- Valid Class "C" Texas drivers license
- Possession of current State of Texas Plumbing License
- Possession of International Code Congress (ICC) Certificates for Residential Building Inspector; Plumbing Inspector; Mechanical Inspector, and Electrical Inspector
