Seattle Public Utilities is seeking a Senior Business System Analyst (ITP B-BU) to join our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Team. This role is crucial in providing work and asset management solutions that enable SPU to efficiently manage infrastructure risks and maintenance tasks. The position coordinates responses to daily operational challenges with SPU's work and asset management systems, including Maximo, Data Splice, and Geographic Information System (GIS) Inspection Applications.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field (if NO degree, candidates will need two (2) additional years of qualifying experience).
Experience: Requires three (3) years of experience with work and asset management systems (Maximo preferred) and with systems or business analysis; Data management and business reporting; Operations systems or ERP systems support.
Note: A combination of education and/or experience providing equivalent background may substitute for the required education or experience.

The salary range for this position is $52.63 - $79.00 per hour ($109,891 - $164,952 annually).

Workplace Schedule/Environment
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Starting January 2, 2025, City employees will have the option to work remotely two days per week. Individual schedules will be determined by agreement between employees and their supervisors.
- Primary day shift with occasional evening and weekend assignments. On-call availability required for emergency response during non-standard hours
- Work is performed in both office and public settings.
- Experience supporting enterprise systems including Work/Asset Management, GIS, and ERP, with expertise in business analysis, process modeling, and system troubleshooting
- Experience practicing project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall, with focus on test planning, performance metrics, and workflow optimization
- Leadership capabilities encompassing group facilitation, relationship management, and cross-functional team collaboration
- Technical proficiency in documentation, training development, and Microsoft Office suite (Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving, with strong ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in utility operations or public sector environment
