As the Tolt Treatment Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the plant’s operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage plant operations – Oversee daily activities, project schedules, and contracts to ensure smooth operations while minimizing disruptions
- Lead and develop staff – Participate in hiring, conduct performance reviews, and support the professional growth of team members
- Oversee budgeting and contracts – Manage an annual O&M and CIP budget of $8–20 million and participate in negotiating contracts for chemicals, mechanical services, and preventative maintenance
- Ensure regulatory compliance – Provide input on regulatory policies, maintain compliance with State, Federal, and local drinking water standards, and communicate with regulators on reports, surveys, and project reviews
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, facility management, or related field
AND
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment in a water treatment plant and related facilities; including supervisory experience. Additionally, there is no substitution for supervisory experience.
Certification/License: WTPO 4 is required
Combinations of appropriate education, training, certification and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability to the minimum education and experience requirements.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex issues to leadership, staff and stakeholders
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with people from diverse professional, cultural backgrounds
- The ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
- Being responsive to operational and emergency needs of the plant and the ability to work under pressure

The full salary range for this position is: $124,758.00 - $187,105.68 Annually
