Summary
This position is responsible for leading safe, social and recreational experiences for youth through planned activities for programs as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead age appropriate weekly arts and crafts, games and activities for children ages 3 to 12
- Teach basic sport programs for children ages 3 to 10, specifically t-ball and soccer
- Assists at various special events to engage participants
- Chaperone field trips
- Attend and participate in staff meetings
- Communicates information with coworkers, parents and supervisors about the program and participants
- Conducts all activities in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Inventories and maintains all equipment and supplies needed for the program
- Performing cleaning duties in the recreation facilities and equipment to maintain a safe play area for all participants
- All other tasks, duties and projects as assigned
