Position:
The City of Sharonville is seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Assistant Camp Manager to assist with coordinating camp programming at the Sharonville Community Center. If you are passionate about giving back to your community, working with youth, and growing professionally, this is the job for you! Under the direction of the Recreation Department, the Assistant Camp Manager will assist in coordinating programming and overseeing camp operations. Primary responsibilities include organizing and directing camp activities; enforcing compliance of policy and procedures related to child care and camp programming; managing counselors and other camp personnel; actively communicating with staff, parents and campers. Candidates must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays during the camp season. Qualified candidates should have excellent educator, customer service and communication skills. It is strongly preferred that candidates possess a minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in camp programming or childcare. CPR and AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire date.
