What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Service Attendant- The Greens Golf Course position at City of Sherwood AR?
Responsible for staging golf carts for patrons and taking care of golf patrons’ needs. Also includes cleaning and checking carts daily for proper operation and picking the range. Brings golf carts from the cart barn in the morning, cleans and checks carts after each use and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day. Maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the public. Ensures that practice range is open and ready for players in the mornings and will pick, clean and fill dispenser with range balls throughout the day. Range baskets must be picked up on a regular basis. Enforces established rules of course among golfers such as out of bound areas, cart regulations, wearing or proper clothing and practicing at designated sites. Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments. Ensures the clubhouse and practice range areas are kept orderly and clean, including restrooms and trash receptacles. Clean cart barn and bag room. Vacuum and clean pro shop. Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
Qualifications
High school or GED; CPR-certified or be able to obtain certification within 1 week of hire date; Valid AR Driver’s License required. Must be 18 years or older; Must possess a valid Arkansas Driver’s License Ability to maintain accurate records, type and enter data accurately. Ability to effectively communicate on a one-on-one basis with others. Ability to maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with other employees, department officials and the public. Ability to report to work each scheduled day, and on time.

Miscellaneous Information
This position is part time and is not eligible for the City of Sherwood benefits package.
