EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Drives and/or operates automobiles, six-eight passenger van, bus, etc,. Drives and.or operates powered machinery such as: tractors, pickups, carryalls, asphalt burners, laydown machines, flat beds, tar pots, chippers, spreaders, trailers, compressors, yard equipment, street flusher, dump truck (up to five yards), and/or mud jacks.2. May be assigned to work alone or with laborers.3. May assist in loading and unloading trucks. 4. Assists City crews with physical work activities, which may include cutting grass, pulling or pushing things, objects, materials, tools and etc., excavating and moving earth and other materials; spraying and flushing streets. 5. Services (gas, oil, water, clean, grease and etc.) and perform minor maintenance on assigned vehicles.6. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Physical Requirements: 1. Tasks involve sedentary to light work, involving some reaching, handling, fingering and/or feeling of objects and materials;2. Involve the ability to exert light to moderately heavy physical effort, but which may involve some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate to moderately heavy weight (12-50 pounds); and may occasionally involve heavier objects and materials (up to 100 pounds). 3. Tasks may require perception and discrimination of color, sound, odor, depth, texture, as well as visual ability and oral communications ability. 4. Jobs must be performed with or without accommodations.Travel: Travel will be required locally from location to location to accomplish assignments and visit job sites.Work Environment: 1.
