- Senior Driver-Operator Street Paint Striping Machine Worker activities involve the following tasks; normally serves as senior member of three-person paint truck crew. Oversees and performs same tasks as those assigned to Driver-Operator Street Paint Striping Machine. A driver truck or operates paint guns from either of two positions, rear of truck (one left side, one right side). Also uses paint brush and spray gun to paint cross walks, stop blocks, curbs, glass spheres, arrows, parking stalls, fire alarm poles, etc. Helps load truck, bleed fluid lines, and set up/take down barricades.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to perform assigned tasks.
- Two (2) years training and experience as Driver –Operator Street Paint Striping Machine.
- Physical stamina; manual dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination; spatial and form perception; and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
- Thorough knowledge of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highways Administration.
