Qualifications

- The applicant must meet all minimum qualifications for the position.
- The applicant must complete and submit the City of Sidney Application for employment by 5:00 pm February 21, 2025.
- The applicant must register for and complete the National Testing Network Examination (NTN) prior to February 21, 2025.
- The NTN Written Exam and transferred scores will be accepted until February 21, 2025.
- The applicant must pass the Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and complete background questionnaire. The final date to complete them is February 21, 2025.
- Polygraph and Background Investigation - the HR Director will arrange polygraph examinations for eligible candidates. Interviews will be scheduled after successful completion of the polygraph examination.

Qualifications
- Must be between the ages of 20 ½ by application deadline and appointed prior to 35.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Have a valid Driver’s License
- Successfully pass all sections ot the National Testing Network Examination with a score of 70% or higher.
- Successfully pass a physical fitness examination.
- Successfully pass a background investigation (including a polygraph examination) and pass a medical and psychological examination.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Meet all Civil Service Requirements.
