Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications of Interested Candidates: 1. Minimum age of 21, or appointed by age 35. 2. Have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 3. Have a valid Driver's License 4. Successfully pass all sections of the National Testing Network Examination (score 70% or higher) 5. Successfully pass a physical fitness examination 6. Successfully pass a background investigation (including polygraph examination) and pass a medical and psychological examination 7. Be a U.S> Citizen or authorized to work in the United States Meet all Civil Service Requirements

- The applicant must meet all minimum qualifications for the position.
- The applicant must complete and submit the City of Sidney Application for employment by 5:00 pm May 19, 2025.
- The applicant must register for and complete the National Testing Network Examination (NTN) prior to May 19, 2025.
- The NTN Written Exam and transferred scores will be accepted until May 19, 2025.
- The applicant must pass the Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and complete background questionnaire. The final date to complete them is May 19, 2025.
- Polygraph and Background Investigation - the HR Director will arrange polygraph examinations for eligible candidates. Interviews will be scheduled after successful completion of the polygraph examination.
