City Engineer Step Range (1-6) - $134,772 - $174,048 Annually
City Engineer Longevity Range (1-6) - $134,772 - $182,748 Annually
This position is appointed by the Mayor and is subject to confirmation by the City Council.
Attendance at evening meetings or other off-duty events is required and the incumbent may also be required to work adjusted shifts.

Under administrative direction, directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and operations of the Engineering Division within the Public Works Department; responsible for project and department budgets, capital projects development and management, grant management, private development and right of way permit review and inspections, right of way code enforcement, public concern reporting response, planning (utilities, transportation, parks), Council reports and presentations, permit/regulatory compliance, and public works related code and engineering standards updates. Also supports all City departments, Council, Boards, Commissions, and the public.
