SALARY: $12.10- per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Player Assistant is responsible for staging and putting away carts. Greeting patrons when coming to our facility
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
None.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
First and foremost, greet members and guests in a friendly, courteous, and
professional manner.
? Staging golf carts in a neat and organized manner.
? Assistance with putting on or removing golf bags from carts.
? Condition of golf carts with detail to cleanliness and appearance.
? Making sure all carts are accounted for and charging before closing.
? Make sure cart barn is locked up and secure.
? Document and notify the Golf Professional or Assistant Manager of cart issues.
? Assist golf shop personnel with staging carts for outings.
? Monthly battery maintenance for carts.
? Trash barrels emptied and ball washers maintained with clean water and towels.
? Keep cart barn clean and organized.
? Keep sand bottles filled.
? Perform other duties as required assigned by Golf Professional.
NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Three years? experience in golf operations.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY:
Working knowledge of City or County government a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION:
- Valid Indiana Driver?s License required if driving City vehicle.
