Summary :

Under the general supervision of the Community Service Officer Supervisor, the Parking Ambassador performs a wide variety of enforcement of City ordinances, codes, laws, regulations and validation programs pertaining to on-street and off-street parking, including interpretation and enforcement of protocols related to parking enforcement.
Identifying characteristics
Parking Ambassador is a journey level position assigned a full range of parking enforcement duties with minimal assistance or direction; work independently and exercise sound judgment in the application of policies and procedures related to issuing citations, towing, traffic control, and recordkeeping responsibilities related to parking enforcement. Incumbent is expected to become increasingly knowledgeable of state and city laws, ordinances, procedures and practices pertaining to vehicles, and parking enforcement.

DISASTER SERVICE WORKER
