The South Sioux City, Nebraska, Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for a full time police officer. In this role, you will serve and protect our community through police patrol, investigations, traffic regulation, and related law enforcement activities. Your experience and judgment will be crucial in responding to emergencies, maintaining peace, and enforcing the law. The City will be accepting applications until Noon on March 21, 2025, for testing to "establish an eligibility list" for the position of Police Officer. Any future vacancies will be filled from this list while it is active; salary for this position starts at $28.79 per hour, with a raise at 3 months, six months, and one year.
