• Lateral hires will receive 50% of the incentive when hired and 50% upon completion of the FTO program.
  
  

New hires (Recruits) will receive 50% of the incentive when hired, 25% upon police academy graduation, and 25% upon completion of the FTO program.

• Employees who receive an incentive and voluntarily leave City employment prior to their third anniversary will be required to pay back the incentive.Â

Testing Dates & Schedule

• Written Test: By invitation only. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 (casual/workout attire)
• Physical Agility Test: By invitation only. Tuesday, January 21, 2025
• The PAT will begin immediately following the written exam for those who score a 70% or higher on the written exam. Click here to watch the course.Â
• Panel interview: Candidates who successfully pass the written exam and physical agility test will advance to the next stage and be scheduled for a panel interview. The interview process will include a writing exercise and a video simulator exercise. Interviews are expected to begin the afternoon of January 21st and may continue through the remainder of the week, as needed Â
• Priority will be given to those traveling from out of state.Â
