Job Standards
The Office of Public Works, Sewer Division is seeking an individual to provide engineering technical support to the Sewer Division. Perform duties that are focused on creating, collecting, observing, inspecting and locating information for existing and new division assets. Execute basic inspections on the City’s sewer lines; compile data and prepare reports. Conduct video inspections and data collections. Execute field inspections of assets for J.U.L.I.E. locates. Install, maintain, and manage various monitoring systems such as rain gauge, flow meter, and pump station. This position requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of a high school diploma or GED and two years technical experience in the engineering field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. A Class D driver’s license is also required.
