Job Standards
The Office of Public Works, Engineering Division is seeking an individual to direct, inspect and conduct surveys related to construction projects and maintenance activities of the Engineering Division; perform technical engineering work and various material testing. Conduct inspections on construction projects for the City in accordance with plans and specifications. Perform technical para-engineering work in conducting investigations of maintenance activities. Maintain detailed documentation of activities. This position requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of college with course work in engineering and three years of progressively responsible technical engineering experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a valid Class D driver’s license is also required.
