Position Purpose/Summary
Essential Functions
- Processes employee timecards and office paperwork.
- Plans the daily agenda for supervised employees.
- Defines project tasks and resource requirements. Assembles and coordinates project staff and plans and schedules project timeline.
- Prices and purchases materials and equipment necessary in maintaining the district.
- Conducts visual inspection of district grounds for maintenance, repair, and general improvement.
- Provides direction and support to maintenance workers.
- Performs related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of building, equipment, and grounds maintenance techniques and tools.
- Ability to keep records of invoices and supporting documents.
- Ability to articulate problems and a solution.
- Knowledge of personnel principles and methods.
- Ability to plan, assign, supervise and review the work of others.
- Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in grounds and building maintenance along with one year of supervisory experience.
