What you'll do:- Supervise staff, establish, prioritize, and participate in daily functions of the Records Section.
- Manage, maintain, and review police records.
- Utilize computer systems and databases for data entry, information retrieval, and tracking.
- Strong leadership, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail especially with written and verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and utilize good discernment and decision-making.

These shifts include the following:
- Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. ($1.00/hr shift differential)
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. ($1.50/hr shift differential)
There are no exceptions or guarantees made regarding shift assignment. Applicants must be open and available for any shift if applying for this position.

- At least three years of experience in responsible office work, with at least two years of experience in police records or as a law enforcement officer;
- At least one year of experience in police records or as a law enforcement officer combined with three years of responsible work experience with some supervision or leading a team;
- At least five years of supervisory work experience in an office setting with extensive use of software systems and a customized electronic records management system, with law enforcement experience preferred.
Licensing/Certification
- Obtain and Maintain State certification as a MULES terminal operator;
- Obtain and maintain a certification as a Notary Public;
- Certification as a Property and Evidence Specialist (if assigned to Property.)
