What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adaptive Playground Program Counselor position at City of St. Clair Shores?
The City of St Clair Shores is now accepting Counselor applications for our Adaptive Playground Program.
This program runs from June 17 - August 23, 2024
Counselors are scheduled to work 40 hours per week for nine (9) weeks of the summer. Applicants must be willing to work full-time outdoors (weather permitting) as the program is based out of Veterans Memorial Park.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Direct supervision of individuals with a range of disabilities
- Ensuring safety of campers at all times
- Assist in planning and implementing different activities (crafts, games, science experiments, etc)
- Working in a team setting with many other staff members
Experience is not required. Staff training and orientations will be provided upon hiring.
Applicants MUST be 18 years of age at time of hire.
Salary : $11 - $13
