In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our city's growth and development by reviewing, processing, and managing applications for building, zoning, and other permits. This position requires specialized clerical work, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, along with the ability to provide excellent customer service to residents and developers.

Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by one (1) year of administrative or customer service experience working or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Proficiency with Windows based computer applications is preferred .
Previous cash handling experience is preferred .
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is preferred with proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
Reasoning :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
