Company Overview

The City of St. Helens Public Works Engineering Division is responsible for planning, designing, managing, and constructing the city's infrastructure, including streets, bridges, water mains, sewer mains, and storm drains.

We also maintain and update record drawings and construction drawings for all public infrastructure, manage the City's Geographical Information System (GIS), and AutoCAD base maps of public infrastructure.

Job Description

This position involves administering right-of-way permits for construction activity within the public right-of-way and reviewing and administering public improvement construction permits for the construction of public improvements on private residential, industrial, and commercial development projects.

  • Administer right-of-way permits for construction activity
  • Review and administer public improvement construction permits
  • Maintain and update record drawings and construction drawings
  • Manage the City's Geographical Information System (GIS)
