Manage and report result of adult softball games. Act in a polite and courteous manner and represent the Recreation Department and the City of St. Louis Park in the most professional way.This is a seasonal and part time position, working less than 20 hours per week.
Enforce the rules of the games.
Report any major infractions (suspensions or ejections).
Ensure that the facility is in playable condition.
Report the scores of each game.
Work through all participant issues or conflicts.
Uphold the integrity of the recreational sport/activity and deal directly with any unsportsmanlike conduct.
Direct set-up and breakdown of facility for specific activity/athletic instruction.
Work cooperatively with Park and Recreation Department, other facility users, team managers, and players implementing other recreational programs.
Act in a polite and courteous manner and represent the Recreation Department and the City of St. Louis Park in the most professional way
- Must be very familiar with the rules and game of softball.
- Positive attitude and strong initiative.
- Ability to effectively resolve conflicts.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and comfort with supporting the city’s strategic objectives for advancing racial equity.
Salary : $28 - $30
