Job Title: Water Distribution Operator
The City of St. Louis Water Department is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Water Distribution Operator.
This role involves performing basic tasks as part of the Department and requires specific skills and experience, including:
- A High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in sewer or water utility work and repairs.
- Operation of various equipment such as tractors, backhoe, dump trucks, trencher, and similar machinery.
- The ability to attend training classes and obtain necessary certificates and licenses.
- A Commercial Driver license class A with N endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
The selected candidate will work closely with their Department Supervisor to determine when a Commercial Driver license is required.
