What are the responsibilities and job description for the Climbing Wall Driver position at City of St. Paul?
About the Position
Join us! Our nationally acclaimed Parks and Recreation department is hiring season temporary climbing wall drivers to transport our mobile climbing wall and/or gaming truck to various events through-out Saint Paul.
Here's what you can expect to do:
Drive and Tow Equipment: Safely operate a truck while towing a 24ft trailer to various community events.- Set Up and Operate Climbing Wall: Learn how to properly harness participants, set up, and take down the mobile climbing wall.
- Engage with the Community: Interact with youth and community members, ensuring a fun and safe experience at local events throughout the summer.
- Work Hours: Shifts vary between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m..
- Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
- Hours: Guaranteed 32 hours per week.

Position Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Driver’s License or equivalent out -of-state driver’s license.
