Job Summary
Are you passionate about art and enjoy working with kids? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Art Camp Counselors for the summer season, from June 2nd to August 1st. This role offers up to 32.5 hours per week, with a total of 400 hours for the season, and a flexible schedule based on staffing needs. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and facilitating age-appropriate arts and crafts projects.
- Monitor and engage with campers to ensure their safety, participation, and enjoyment.
- Support and inspire campers in their artistic expression and projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
- Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations, administering first aid if necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age by May 14, 2025.
- Must be a US citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
- Must be able to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior childcare experience preferred but not required.
- A background or strong interest in visual arts and creative projects.
- Strong communication skills, a team-centric mindset, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt to various activities and the changing needs of the camp.
