Job Summary
Join the City of St. Peters as a Water-Sewer or Storm Water Intern and gain hands-on experience in stormwater, water and sanitary systems, data collection, and infrastructure inspection. This internship offers an opportunity to work closely with our Storm Water and Utilities departments, contributing to essential projects that help maintain and improve our community's water systems.
Normal Shift : Mon-Fri; Flexible start of 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm to 3 : 30pm-4 : 00pm (dependent on start time)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating GIS water and sewer records to reflect existing infrastructure.
- Conduct field inspections of detention basins, storm and sanitary sewers and manholes, and water distribution system assets.
- Support storm water project management by updating databases and investigating customer concerns.
- Participate in mapping and research related to GIS databases.
- Ensure all work complies with City safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department initiatives.
