What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST - GRANTS position at City of Stamford, CT?
DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Grants Officer, performs clerical and administrative operations for the office. Provides assigned grant project-related financial and programmatic support, and does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from high school and five (5) years of progressively responsible office experience, including typing, and dictation OR a satisfactory equivalent combination of training and experience.
Note: Bachelor’s degree or technical training/certification in a related field and supervisory experience a plus.
SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: Candidates will be evaluated based on education, knowledge, and experience provided on the application and supplement 25-10 weighted at 75% and a MS Office Suite computer-based exam weighted at 25%.
