The City of Steamboat Springs has a fun seasonal position at Howelsen Hill as a Ski Patrol! The seasonal runs November through March. This position starts at $22.15/hour and weekend and evening shifts available!
Seasonal employees are eligible for option 1: $3/hour end of season bonus based on total hours worked OR option 2: for those working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for a Steamboat Resort Merchant Pass paid for by the City of Steamboat Springs plus a $1/hour end of season bonus based on total hours worked in lieu of option 1 (employees’ choice). All employees of Howelsen Hill will be eligible to participate in the Real Deal, allowing employees to ski at most ski areas in CO.Serves as an ambassador of the City of Steamboat Springs and upholds City values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Well-being, Respect and Compassion, while espousing safety at all times.
Enforce safe ski practices. Patrol assigned areas checking ski slopes and trails. Current OEC certification or EMT required. EOE.
Salary range is $22.15 - $26.92/hr. and placement within the range is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
