Pay increases every six (6) months and annually on July 1st!

Position Summary
Under supervision of the Community Relations Director, the Citizen Services Specialist serves as a vital liaison between residents and the City, effectively addressing inquiries and concerns for swift resolution, ensuring follow-up for completion. Scope of work includes monitoring various communication platforms to capture resident concerns and feedback, managing the City's volunteer base for a variety of programs, and collaborating with City employees to execute programs such as citywide cleanups and special events, including, but not limited to, Sterlingfest, Cultural Exchange, & Volunteer Banquet. Strong organizational, conflict-resolution, and communication skills are crucial as the Citizen Services Specialist supports the Community Relations Department's mission to create community through engagement, messaging, and storytelling.
