BUILDING OFFICIAL/BUILDING INSPECTOR (OBBS Certified) City of Steubenville – Planning & Zoning Commission’s Building Division
Applications are being accepted for a full-time Building Official/Building Inspector position with the Steubenville Planning & Zoning Commission’s Building Inspection Division. Applicants must have high school diploma and a valid driver’s license. Must have experience in the construction trades and certification by the Ohio Board of Building Standards (OBBS) as a commercial building official, commercial building inspector, residential building official, residential building inspector, and residential plans examiner; or interim building designation at the time of application. If interim certification, full certification must be obtained within one year of employment. Salary-
$85,000 annually. All applicants must submit a City Application, Resume, and copy of Driver’s License. A copy of OBBS Certification must be provided at the time of filing application.
