2-25 Engineering Division Manager for Water Utilities: Supervise the Water Utilities Engineering (WUE) division of the Engineering Department. Provide engineering expertise, management, administration and oversight of the City’s water and wastewater CIP implementation including capital projects design, bidding and construction for waterlines, sewer lines, plants, tanks and pump/lift stations. Provide and oversee technical guidance to the WU Department for the purpose of operating, maintaining and improving the City’s water and wastewater utilities. Provide ongoing updates and improvements to the City’s design and construction WU standards. Participate in and oversee division personnel in consultant selection, project management, contract administration, expenditure forecasts and long-range planning.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field, with a Master’s degree preferred; eight years progressive experience in water utilities engineering and construction oversight; demonstrated ability to supervise other professionals on multiple projects and objectives; ability to work with others, within and outside the City in sometimes contentious situations; experience with oversight, development and management of budgets; registered Professional Engineer, must obtain Oklahoma registration within six months of hire date and a valid driver’s license.
Salary Range: $121, 2534.40 to $132,808.00 annually DOQ, plus comprehensive benefits package. A cover letter, resume, copies of licenses/certifications and a completed City of Stillwater application are required for consideration.
