General Description:
The Seasonal Park Employee is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and efficient operation of the park system in the city of Streetsboro.
General Duties:
- Assists in grounds maintenance: mows lawns, plants, fertilizes, landscapes: maintains and prepares athletic fields.
- Cleans and maintains park facilities, including public restrooms & outdoor pavilions.
- Assists with operation and maintenance of all park equipment and vehicles; operation and maintenance of various department tools.
- Assists in set up, clean up and operation of special events.
- Removal of trash in park and other related areas.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School education or equivalent
Experience:
- Maintenance and use of parks equipment and tools.
- Basic knowledge of grounds and athletic field maintenance.
- Ability to carry out oral or written instructions.
- Must have a valid state of Ohio driver’s license.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
