What are the responsibilities and job description for the REC - Program Assistant position at City of Sun Prairie?
Under the leadership of the Recreation Program Coordinator and Program Instructors, this position assists in the implementation of program-specific curriculum and assists in leading/facilitating youth sports, enrichment and/or camp activities. This position will be mostly working outdoors in city parks.
Dates and hours needed:
Summer months with the possibility of continuing into the fall season and beyond. Schedule varies based on program needs and applicant’s availability and qualifications. Typical work hours are weekday afternoons/evenings between 12:00-7:00 pm but may be combined with additional programs as assigned during morning hours. Option to work multiple programs for 20 hours/week.
Starting wage - $10.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications:
The position qualifies for $.25 increases annually.
