What are the responsibilities and job description for the REC - Summer Camp Instructor - Kids at the Park position at City of Sun Prairie?
Under the leadership of the Recreation Coordinator, this position leads/facilitates programming at Kids at the Park Summer Camp at Wetmore Park. Kids at the Park is a full day summer camp for grades K-5 that meets Monday-Friday, max enrollment of 25. Key responsibilities include facilitation of daily activities in a safe and enjoyable manner, development of lessons and activities and effective communication with supervisor and participant families.
Starting wage - $20.00 per hour based on experience
Dates and hours needed:Required training in mid to late May. Camp program runs June 16 - August 22. Camp instructors can anticipate being scheduled 35-40 hours a week, consisting of half day or full day hours between 7:00 am-5:30 pm, M-F.
