Tacoma Power is looking to hire a SharePoint Intern to join our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team! This position is open to current college students and recent graduates and offers hands-on experience. This paid internship is an entry-level position.
This is not a normal internship! You will be a crucial member of a small team with important responsibilities and deliverables of your own. You will leave our internship program with new knowledge, skills, and experience. In this role you will work directly with all members of the EHS Teams to support establishing and improving SharePoint sites and overall business operations.
Responsibilities Include
- Support the design, maintenance, and development, of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) SharePoint Site
- Complete business operations task to include, scheduling meetings, assisting in note taking, and learning about EHS processes
- Support the development of process automation, task delegation, and project management efforts in SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, & One note
- Collaborate with EHS staff to ensure that all applicable compliance hard-copy records are available, filed correctly, and are organized for retrieval/archiving
This position is temporary up to 40 hours per week. The term of this position is expected to coincide with the typical summer break for college students.Minimum Education*
