Description
The Adult Softball Coordinator is a part time position responsible for the supervision of Adult Softball
League and Adult Softball Umpires. Working with the Parks & Recreation Department, this position
requires knowledge of softball along with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Responsible for the day-to day maintenance of fields: Dragging, chalking, along with mound and batter’s box repair.
- Onsite game days coordinating things so that they run smoothly, as well as putting out game balls and screens.
- Coordinating the seasons schedule both regular season and playoff, as well as changes due to weather etc.
- Coordinating with umpires’ game times and rule changes.
- Managing Facebook page includes answering questions and updating teams on status changes throughout the season.
Qualifications
- Possess great knowledge of the softball and the rules of the game.
- Positive attitude, with good communication skills
- Must be available the entire season
- Must be onsite for each game.
Salary : $14 - $15
