Salary Range:
IT Support Analyst I: $59,762 - $79,484
IT Support Analyst II: $70,982 - $94,406
This position is part of a flexible classification. Qualified candidates may be hired at either level based on their experience, education and training as determined by the hiring authority.

DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this position is to assess, troubleshoot, and follow established guidelines to solve hardware, software, and networking problems and to provide primary and secondary technical assistance to all departments via phone, remote network technology and onsite customer support.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
IT Support Analyst I:
Requires two (2) years of customer service experience.
IT Support Analyst II:
Requires three (3) years of service desk support of desktop hardware and software on an enterprise\industrial network.
Candidates must have the minimum amount of work experience. Years of experience are based upon a full-time work schedule (2,080 hours per year). The sum of an applicant’s full-time and/or part-time qualifying work experience must meet or exceed the stated minimum qualification. Education will not substitute for the required work experience; however, related unpaid and/or volunteer work experience may be used as qualifying work experience.
Education:
Both Levels I/II:
Requires equivalent to an associate degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer information systems or degree related to the core functions of this position.
The term “equivalent” means that directly related work experience exceeding the required work experience will substitute in equal time increments for college-level education, for example: one year of additional directly related work experience will substitute for one year of college education (30 credit hours).
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
Both Levels I/II:
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Possession of, or required to obtain within six (6) months of hire, one of the listed certifications.
