Law Enforcement Officer certification and maintain Georgia Basic Peace Officer Certification.Experience: Have at least five years of continuous full-time service as a P.O.S.T. certified Police Officer, including one year as a Corporal with the Thomaston Police Department or equivalent experience.Supervisory Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, communication skills, and the ability to resolve problems effectively.License and Record: Hold a valid Georgia driver’s license and maintain a clean motor vehicle record, with successful completion of background checks and screenings.POST Certifications: Possess P.O.S.T.
