GIS professionals you found your calling. The GIS Analyst II plays a valuable role in the city’s enterprise GIS program. In addition to working with the GIS team on exciting and cutting-edge GIS projects, this position will help grow and administer the city’s ArcGIS Online presence and internal web mapping application. An advanced GIS also takes keen analytical skills in troubleshooting and understanding multi-tier architecture. Is this you? - Assisting with the city’s migration to a new web mapping platform and then growing and advancing it for the organization
- Assisting with growing and administering the city’s ArcGIS Online presence
- Evaluating and developing scripts/procedures to more effectively and efficiently administer our GIS environment
- Participating on project teams for city departments needing map-based solutions involving city business data as well as new technology advancements
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in geographic information systems, geography, computer science, or a related field, and two (2) years of professional experience in designing, programming, supporting, and implementing GIS applications.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10 hour sifts, general working hours are 7:00-6:00 p.m. with remote work opportunities up to 2 to 3 days a week.
