The City of Topeka is seeking an organized individual to serve in the Municipal Court as a Court Clerk I. This is specialized clerical and customer service work that requires the operation of standard office equipment, a basic level understanding regarding the criminal justice process and the precise and accurate operation of a specific and technical case administration software suite.
The ideal candidate has:

- The ability to prioritize and multi-task
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; College degree or some college level education preferred.
- One year of clerical or customer service experience required, preferably in a legal or judicial environment.
- One year of typing and operation of general office machines, computers and software is required.
- One year handling and cash reconciliation experience preferred.
Entry rate of pay: $17.10 per hour
