The mission of the Department of General Services is to provide quality services that support City departments in a manner which enable them to carry-out their community missions; to provide these services in a cost-effective and efficient manner which best serves the operational needs of City departments and the community. Seven years of journey level experience in commercial heating and air conditioning system maintenance and repair that included at least two years of supervisory experience. An Associates Degree in HVAC Technology or completion of a refrigeration/heating apprentice training program may be substituted for two years of the required journey level experience.
License and/or Certificates
Possession of a valid EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification from an approved U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Technician Certification Program.
