For more information on the program, click here.Program Commitment: Summer Interns are expected to commit to an eight (8) week term of service, from June 16 - August 08, 2025. The schedule for the program is 20 hours per week to be arranged with the sponsoring departments.
The Summer Internship Program is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:
Current Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited academic institution with at least two years of completed study (junior or senior standing), equivalent to 60 semester units or 90 quarter units.
OR
Recent Graduate: Must have graduated within the last six months with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
GPA: Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Interview Process:
- Panel Interview: Weighted 100% (Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025 and Friday, May 9, 2025)
- Only those candidates who best meet the City and Department’s needs will be invited to an interview.
