Pool Attendant/Cashier
(Season begins early-May to early-September)
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum age 16 years
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily duties of the aquatic center including but not limited to: customer service, cash handling, inventory control, park admissions, class and pass registrations, special events, guest greeter and facility upkeep.
SUPERVISION:
The Seasonal Cashier will report directly to the Pool Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a sense of pride and accomplishment with one's work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cash handling
- Accurate count of start-up and ending monies
- Accurate change counting
- Accurate sales transactions
- Pass and program registrations
- Input information into system correctly
- Advise on what passes and classes offer
- Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Inventory control
- Complete required inventory sheets.
- Facility Upkeep/Operations
- Daily and continuous cleaning of cashier booth, around the facility & lock rooms
- Daily trash removal
- Enforce all rules and regulations with patrons
- Help with daily park operations
- Slide Dispatching
- Greet guests with facility policies and procedures.
- Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies.
- Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
COMPENSATION:
Work hours are determined by pool operation hours
HOURS
Summer Seasonal-must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
STARTING SALARY: $13 /HR
